Default Blew the doors off a Ford Focus ZX3

I was traveling down college ave tonight, car hunting as usual, and I notice the headlights of a Focus in my rearview. I was hoping it was a really riced out Focus with full body kit and exhaust I could race, but it ended up being stock. So I doing the speed limit, 35, in the left lane of a 4 lane street, she comes up beside me on the right lane, and I see a girl in driver seat, she looked rather old, like in her forties, so I was like nah she isn't gonna go, so I played it cool. So she pulled ahead of my front bumper a little and I just eased my foot on the gas and easily got a lil ahead of her, then all of a sudden she mashes on the thing and get about a half car on me, so I was like ok, u wanna go? I stepped on the gas and easily cruised by her. Then I let down and she goes again, I was like all right, I'm gone this time, so I step on it and I am gone, while I am blowing by her, she mashes on it and tries to catch up to me, she never did, it was a *** handing if I ever saw one. I felt rather proud of myself and my car being the beast that she is and being 14 years old with 182,000 miles. I am sure the lady was like holy crap what just happened, I had him, damn that car is fast.

I can just imagine how things would of been if I had an modded ssei, god I can't even think how it would of been, I mean I had my way with her, but damn if I had an ssei, god I don't even want to think about it. I think I know why my 0-60 time is as fast as an ssei stock times, it'* because the plugs I have in my car, Denso Iridiums, which were $13.00 per plug, every plug causes a 2% increase in acceleration, and I have 6 of them. My car is damn quick and damn powerful for being a 90. I am not a big fan of Trans Am'* even though there fast, I like the bonnies better.

Be careful. You say the woman looked really old and was probably in her 40s. Will is in his late 30'* but we all know he'* no old fart

Your spark plugs won't put you at stock SSEi times, nor do they increase accelleration by 2% EACH. Maybe 2% overall, but that would be damn hard to calculate. A spark plug is a tune-up item, not a power-adder. Stock copper plugs would perform so close, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. To get more power out of your ignition, you have to go with a hotter ignition......at LEAST coils. Then performance plugs and wires can make a slight difference.

Nice kill, nevertheless. I really HATE the focus. It'* the ugliest thing Ford ever produced.

Agreed. I don't know why so many people buy the Focus. It'* got to be just the price and fuel efficiency. But that car has had so many recalls. But the commercials for it praise it. I hate them. I've raced one only because the guy egged me on. It was fun even though it was no contest.

Don't like Trans Ams? Well I guess it'* lonly at the top

I don't really see spark pluds making that big of a diffenrence, but if you really belive in them you could always sidegap a set of AC Delco'*

you 90 bonneville is as fast as a ssei? guys.....ok i said i wouldn't, but COME ON, do you think that SUPERCHARGER does nothing? its a improved engine, then they strapped a blower on top, early ones where rated for high 7'*, low eights. your cars rated for high 10'* low 11'* new 0-60. thats all im saying

like it was said, spark plugs don't add power, they can possibly bring back lost power.

also, think of it like this. lets say a stock spark plug is like a 2" pipe, same with the wires and the pump is only good for 2". only so much water can go through this pipe. now your spark plug is like a 2.25" pipe (for arguements sake) it won't flow any better unless your wires are the same, then you have to have more water flowing, cause its only setup up for 2" (which would be like new ignition). get what im trying to say?
