Another one bites the dust./UPDATE
Coming back from UPS(dropping */C off for McGrath) and noticed that dreadful noise again. Think I spun another bearing. Depending on what I find within the next couple of hours, I may end up parking the curse for a couple of months. Last bearing failure costed me almost $600 in parts and tools. Or I may end up parting it out, or who knows.

on a lot of motors you need to replace MORE than just the crank kit or the bearings will fail again. You are better off throwing in a JY motor vs rebuildng the existing..especially if its an L36 where they are cheap as heck.

What more could I replace? Already replaced the crank, rod bearings, and main bearings. That'* what came in the kit.

Sounds too good to be true. Sounds identical to what it was the last time.

Mike..did you have the rods sized to ensure you had the right bearings and there was no wear on the rods that might be causing any noise/play?
