i need to know what this other hole does theres one for Idle air conrol but what does the other one function as??

PCV passage is on the other side and integratedinto the UIM this passege goesinto the UIM into the LIM right next to the coolant holes

The "What does this one do?" is part of the PCV system. The 3800 utilizes a internal PCV valve system, that runs through the block and heads. Don't block it.

first of all thank you for helping but what i dont get is the PCV is on the other side of the LIM im pretty sure the 3800 dosent have 2 pcv passages theres no sign of any oil vapor or anything in the holes which means oil dosent get through that part at all, so what could it be??

it runs into the cylinder head ive got to belive its a breather or something cauce the way the TB is designed it dosent pull vacum so i guess its like a built in crankcase breather i guess ill just have to find out the hard way

It'* PCV. Even the L67 S1 has two PCV passages through the LIM.
