I don't know about painting it another color anyway...it depends on the value of the car...if it'* worth money, painting it a new color can cause the value to plummet (they can never get to every inch...if it is ever dissassembled, you will find the other color in between things). I agree, I'd be curious to know if any members have either repainted their cars a different color and then tried to sell them, or bought a car that had been repainted to a different color, did it affect the price?
I've never had a car repainted a different color, but I don't know how you'd get the "interior" places like engine compartment, door jams, inside of trunk, etc. to match, and then there'* the factory color code on the identification label, so it would be impossible to hide that it'* had the color changed.
