before you got it
What do you know about the history of your car? Like the previous owner, how they treated it, whatnot.
I know that the original owner bought it in Athens, GA, sold it in 1997 when the second owner bought it, trucked 3 kids in it and beat the h*ll out of it thoroughly until I got it last year, and now she'* babied.

Purchased new in 1992 by my Grandfather. Paid cash. Always serviced at the dealership until the warranty was up. Then was serviced at a local ma and pa place in town. Was used in long trips between Washington and Wyoming/South Dakota. Grandpa would always be a "spirited" driver, and would OWN someone if they were bugging him. Other than that, it was babied. I beggan driving the car when I was 13 on the backroads of Anacortes Washington, where my grandparents live. My grandfather passed away from multiple health related issues in early 2003. I was givin the car on June 16th 2003 as my 16th B-Day gift. The car had 149k miles.

Yeah, I kinda wonder who had it before me. My two previous cars were both brand new because I didn't like the idea of someone else using something before me. I got over that in a hurry when I realized that both of the new cars I had experienced more problems than I could have possibly imagined. All I know about her is that she lived in New Jersey and kept exceptional care of the car.

My bonneville was purchased new as a company car for the company my grandma worked for, my granparents bought in it 90 or 91, not sure on the year. but anyways they babied it and it was driven by my grandma who is very light footed. they also got it rust coated almost every year, which didnt help (my car is ridiculously rusted out, btw) anyways my dad bought it in...1998 and he drove it for awhile and then it was passed on to my mom who drove normally but hit a pole in an underground parking garage (women ) and then the car was given to my sister as her first car. she drove it like a teenager and hit some things (women ) haha. she got into 1 fender bender and she hit a cart rack at target..then last year on june 29, 2005. my car was finally passed onto me the day i got my license. and now i take care of her but theyre isnt really a point do to its bad condition so..yeah, theres my cars life story

My car was passed around like a cheap ***** from dealership to dealership. 17 different registrations.
It belonged to a member here (Y2Bonny I think)...sold to Jim W, then sold to me.

My 95 was originally a fleet vehicle in New Jersey until 2002 when it has 52,xxx miles.
Came to MN on dealer Auction, where the it was owned by the same person until I bought it last summer from them.
My 1999, I have a carfax, but I forget off hand what it all says.
I do know that it was sold at some point from a dealer in Framingham or Framhampton, Massachussets, and was in the accident that sent it to the auction that sold it the dealer in MN that I bought it from.

Mine was a customer special order at a delership in Vurginia and she was registered by the first owner in NC and when the second owner got her she was registered in FL and according to the carfax report she was last warranty serviced by Coggin Pontiac in Jacksonville, the same dealership we stopped at during the first SEBF
Purchased at auction by Cook Motor Company of Summerville *.C in July '04 and on the lot 4 days before I brought her home Look at the inventory, they don't carry no cheap rides

Mine had four or five different owners. Degree of maintenance unknown, but I guess pretty decent up until the guy my dad bought it from.

First owner bought it and always had it serviced at the dealership where I bought it. It was babied, driven less than average miles, and I was given complete service records.
