Sometimes when the car is running i can hear a slight to moderate grinding noise that speeds up when i rev it up. A mechanic that went along with a friend of mine who looked at the car the day befor i bought it said it sounded like an internal bearing...any ideas or clues??

Get a mechanic'* stethescope for about 10 bucks and narrow down the location. Only way to go.
