Bad deal what to offer? (Edited)
I am looking at a black Bonneville SE in Plover wisconsin at Mark Motors Toyota. It has leather auto climate and some other things with 83000 miles on it for 6988 I thought that was way too high of a price I bought the last one a equally equipped 96 SE with 36000 miles two years ago for 6900 at another local dealer so what do you think I should offer on it because I like that one too and wouldnt mind the addition of another bonneville in my house
Or should I go for the 2003 Bonneville SE again equally equipped for 13590 with 39000 miles on it
(new question) I have now found a 2002 SLE and love it, it has 46k miles and they want 14k. I know this is way over priced and would like to know what should I offer on this one. I would much rather have a SLE than an SE (no offense dont like the front of the 2000+ SE'*)

origionally we had a 96 Supercharged but it was totalled saving my and my mothers life after a a** hole rammed us into a guard rail that we went through and down a ditch into a tree at about 45 50 mph but was a relief because then after that the gas prices sky rocketted and we were glad to have a N/A for a replacement because it never ran right on the 87 or 89 that and it was not worth the extra gas money the power was never that much more and this one has a lot of fun laughing at the Avalons around here that think they are so good ( If you arent in any hurry to go anywhere though then they are great)

The price for the 03 SE looks a little high to me too... I just got a 03 SSEi with every option but the CD changer for $12k.
Good luck.
Good luck.

The price on that 96 appears high. You should be able to do much better. They probably have it inflated because it is under 100K.
On your SSEi... the reason you had no power was because the PCM was pulling all your timing (aka power) due to the wrong fuel being burned. It'* about the equivalent of putting castor oil in a water cooler. People will live on it..but not well.
The SE was designed to run on lower octane and sounds like the right type of motor for your situation. Why not look around at more 00+'* .. have two different body styles in the driveway.

Fast enough, please separate your sentences with periods. It can get hard to read long posts like that without punctuation, especially if we were to help you with a mechanical problem.
Thanks!
Also, you can find 2000 SEs with those kind of miles for less than $6900. Good luck on your search! I know from experience, it'* nice to have two Bonnes – one of mine is not on the road right now though.

around my area there are not many bonnevilles for sale and the ones that are are over priced. within 50 miles there are 15 and two are out of the question for price and one is over priced like crazy. those are the better deals in my area. it does not help though that we want leather and most if not all the other options. we liked a GXP that a neighbor was selling but they went nuts on the price so. and yes we looked for other than SE'* but they have too many miles for our price range. we want lower than 40,000 miles because annually we put on 30 to 45 thousand miles (depends on year)
