who has used it??
What did you think of the software? Worth the cost? downsides?
I'm think of the laptop version (as opposed to the scan gauge that looks good on the 00+ interiors).
opinions welcome.

I haven't used it, but I've been investigating different scanners for some time. I've decided that the AutoTap with the ATENDOM upgrade is likely to be the one that I will purchase. This is the link for the enhanced GM data.

I've used it before on my lumina and we used it in Thom'* truck. My buddy has it and if I can get a hold of him and borrow it, and get a working laptop, I told you we'd go out and test it out. I liked it when I used it. Found out the computer has 500 less miles on the car than the OD.

My dad had one up until a few months ago. That is what we used to tune his car for the first few years, and it worked very well, I really don't have any complaints about it. The reason he switched is because he went to an LS1M with his palm which means no load times for the computer or anything like that. Its much easier. But IIRC the autotap is available for a palm which would probably not be a bad unit.
