What nitrous system you are going to run? Cause both got 99'*. I am still deciding on running on NOS (I am too lazy to type out nitrous anymore) or maybe adapating zzperformance'* supercharger for the GP on my car. I know NOS would be cheaper and more fun but I think our pistons could only take about a 55 shot or so and if you ran more of a shot, you have to upgrade the igintion to one heat range colder spark plugs and MSD igintion and such. If I do NOS, I was thinking the Zex kit (its dry) since it adjusts to bottle pressure and such. Just my thoughts, just give me a hint and maybe we can help each other out.

Well i havent thought about it a whole lot but i would probably go w/ the zex kit. I am loking at the options on this car and i have no clue what to do. NOS SC or just do minor mods and save for my other prodject car. Also i believe our cars can take a 75 hp shot no problem. 100 and you would be pushing it. Right now im going back to college so money will be kinda tight for a while. But in the spring of 2002 I will be doing something major thats for sure. I dont have any info about taking a sc and bolting it on our engines or whats involved but i would like more info if anyone has a clue????

Ill let ya know if i deciede to go that route. But for now im just getting all the pros/cons about any high $$$ mod.
My next step is going to be removing teh yellow lenses next to our head lights, then il look into a custom prom.
Sorry i couldnt be more help and if yo deceide to go the NOS route please kee us informed.
thanks

If your thinking of NOS don't forget what possible long term effects you may encouter from frequent usage. You may end up with valve and piston trouble. If you got to SCPerformance.com and on their links page click on the wise engines link. Chris Wise will be able to tell you of any problems you may encounter internally with NOS. He said if I was going to run it that he'd change my pistons and valves. Just a thought.

Well, my friend has a brand new Zex Kit #82011 and he is selling it for $480 w/ free shipping cause he decided to not use it on his Cutlass since the pistons in that car are weak for nitrous. According to other people testing the same setup his car can theoretically hold only to about a 55 shot safely without blowing up or something else stupid happening. Just let me know at jimbo6482@hotmail.com if you are interested in it and I can foward you his email and you can negotiate with him.
