Guys, I meant that the 2000 Bonneville along with other GM products are using a G-body platform since it is so stiff. It is still called H-body internally, and on the VIN, but that structure was very sound so it was used for other vehicles. (and I used to work for GM, but not now. This is what I read, I could be mistaken.)

Are the engineers employed by GM?
One was, but most are in unrelated fields diesel engines factory owner who makes rolling assembly line parts and builds hobby racecars. None of which are providing any parts for me. NEVER mix business and friendship. They looked at the site because I thought I would like to have something like this if it had merit but I had my doubts. They laughed and said yes it can be done and may help a little but an interior roll cage would do more. Not only would it stiffen the ride up "a bit" it would protect me when I crashed. LOL I told them my plans. They think I’m going to crash?

Hmmm. I actually work for a company with a huge machine and fabrication shop out back. I could easily get them to weld me up something, but I would want to know more information first, like where would these cross bars be located, and how many should you add before the extra weight outweighs the benefits of having them?

Well I did more research and found there "seems" to be some merit to selling the product for mustangs and a few older cars. Yes warp speed has sold their own version for the rice crowd. I talked to a friend of mine who races and he says there is some merit if you use the car for drag racing or serious racing of some sort. I am usually a hog when it comes to info but ill send some links that have merit to our vehicles. Oh I also have looked underneath and found a few patters that will work. The weight is an issue so small tubing is the best way to go.
