glad to hear that... thought I was loosing my mind!
Heck, if I needed to tie my shoe, I'd use a vette'* rear bumper if i could. Maybe i'm just not picky enough, or maybe it has something to do with the fact that it won't hurt the car in any way shape or form...

Hold on a sec.....40th anniversary Bonnevilles are NOT rare. The SSEi is rare, but the SE'* are all over. I've got 2 sitting at a wrecker here, out of 6 Bonnevilles total. I see the SE'* almost daily around here. There were just as many SE'* built with the 40th run as there were SSEi'* every other year. No SLE, but some SSE'*. I'd give the SSE an 'uncommon' tage and SSEi the 'rare' tag, but not the SE.

Back to the bumper.... I would never let anyone put a foot on my car... or rest anything on it'* hood/top/trunk. But some people just don't take care of their stuff.... sad but true.

I use my car as a car, because I only have one car. Yea, I want it to look nice but just because I put a can of soda on my trunk or hood does not mean I dont take care of it.

You can't look down on people because they chose to treat their cars differently. Everyone buys various cars for differnet reasons. It'* up to them to treat the car how they want....after all they ARE paying for it!

BTW...
Not to throw another iron in the fire here, but why don't you guys give Bill crap about his daughters sitting on the trunk with their feet resting on the bumper of his gorgeous SSEi??? (pics in "Your Ride"). I see nothing wrong with it!!!!

Bill didn't have to worry 'bout his little cuties scratching his spoiler like a work boot would scratch a bumper!!!!!!!!!!
