Please keep a veyr close eye on oil pressure and/or any unusual engine noises once you get it fixed. I lost my entire engine about 6 months after the UIM failure due to "internal injuries" caused by not reacting to the failure soon enough.

Doesn't happen to everybody, though, don't get me wrong. I was just one of the "lucky" ones...

That'* the kind of luck I'd have. Just called the towing company and they are going to pick it up around 3, so we'll see.
Mechanic said he'd start tommorrow or Thursday. Told him to call me with more info but he'* familiar with the problem so should be okay. Didn't really drive it much once it got bad, but who knows how much damage was done before that.
We'll see.
I'll keep ya posted.

Well, just got her back. So glad to have her again. Total was $579. UIM and LIM Gasket, new plugs, flush and fill coolant and an oil change. I am thinking though that it may not be quite right. It seems pretty loud. Maybe I just forgot how loud it was, but it doesn't seem right. Any idea what could cause this? Seems to run fine and temp stayed very good.
Now I need to the rest of the problems fixed. Wheel bearing and an allingment.
