Default Brake squeaks.....

New pads and rotors on the car for about a month and now
their squeaking at the start of breaking. Added squeak stop
to the back of the pads but still the squeaks lives...
What else can I do to kill this noise? Is it caused by pad to rotor
contact?

Are you braking lightly? Try some heavy stops from 50mph using moderate pressure on the pedal. That usually kills any squeal I've ever had on my cars. Worse comes to worse you can sand the pads down a little bit.

my back brakes have been sounding like they are metal to metal but had them checked out and were fine. Just a little oil got on one of them but was cleaned off. Every now and then I hear that same metal to metal sound - any ideas what could cause this?

Took brake breaks apart AGAIN! Everything looks fine.

before. what can it be? :?

Well, the easiest solution is going to be buying new pads....

Keep in mind that brakes are meant to be used hard, don't baby them. Besides, if you got a squeek you usually have to live with it. I've had squeeks come and go...it should pass.
