Alrighty, I got the tint samples, The one thet you sent two of, That'* the one that works the best. It could stand to be a little more "blue" but not much darker, If you get what I'm saying...
Here'* the install procedure:
1. Remove the defroster grill. Lift on the side closest to you, Use your hand only, and rotate it towards the windsheild, Then pull it towards yourself.
2. Pull the HUD Control Unit out, Four T15 screws hold it on, two angled back and two straight up and down. These are the Hex head ones. Slide the unit as far out as it will go, No need to disconnect.
3. Remove the Hud Control Unit Cover, Four T15 screws hold this on too. They're the only four visible from the top. Lift the cover straight up. This is a good time to clean the window on it.
4. Look around inside and you should see the HUD display, Cut the tint to the right size and slide it on to the front of the HUD display. Make sure there are no bubbles as this will cause a blurry spot.
5. Reassemble.
Pretty simple eh? It looks great, There'* a slight tint of green, But blue is the main color. No noticable dimming either. It'* kind of distracting now that it looks soooooo good. I may need to tint my guages next time I have them out....
