Man, how'd you guys miss all my ranting about water injection? Here'* some catch-up material for you....you'll be tested on it later:

Yes, it works. Yes, it'll probably be done this weekend, and yes you CAN mix methanol or alcohol with it. This is the reason our WWII fighters had a higher service ceiling than the ricers or the germs. Water injection. Each pound of boost gained is equivalent to about ten horses. I gained two pounds with the first system, but refused to spend 800bucks for a commercial system when I already had an air compressor built into the car by Pontiac.....DUH.
Let me know what you think.....if you PM me your email addresses, I can send you pics of the tank, switch/status LED location, control rack, etc. All that stuff is fully assembled and in the car. I'm doing final wiring today. It looks pretty cool even if it don't work!

Now we're talking! Alcohol injected race engines! This sounds alot better than H2O injection, besides if you put "everclear" in the washer container & then run the nozzle to the steering wheel controls with the nozzle above the driver'* head you'll never ever have to worry about spilling your drink while driving!

Ok, I gained 2 pounds of boost on the gauge with version #1, water only. If I get the same with the final version, I'll be happy. Roughly, each pound of boost gained it 10hp. A 20hp mod is worth my time, especially if it cools the intake. What does the alcohol do? Cools it even more, a bit more power, if done carefully, cannot harm the engine. Some people reccommend a 50/50 mix of water to denatured alcohol, my first tank (holds 5 gallons) will be 4 parts water, 1 part alcohol. One 5 gallon tank should last 2 or 3 tanks of gas, if run full time....so the theory goes.
Any other questions?
(watchit deathrat, I'm coming)

I won't take that comment the wrong way. Yes, I can breathe hard....especially after installing that bitch of a hitch on my bonnie today. Pardon my french, but what a *****. If anyone with a 92-99 SSE or SSEi is considering this, PAY to have it done.
