Default My A/C Doesn't work?

Well when I finally got my power steering fixed I told them to recharge the AC, that'* what I thought was wrong with it. But it has a bad compressor in it. So I will have to drive a Bonneville with no AC, that sucks, these cars are supposed to be luxurious. Does anyone know any prices for a compressor, and how could it fail.

Did they definitely diagnose a bad compressor? An A/C guy once told me that Bonnevilles more commonly eat their evaporators instead. Make sure you know which component is bad before throwing money at it. Just my $.02...

YAY time to go junk yard hopping my favorite!? Why not goto your nearest Junk Yard/Salvage Paridise and pick up a compressor off of a similar model Bonne? Cheap ... Easy... Did I say Cheap?
