Default 2 questions about foglights

first, i have an 02 bonneville sle....What size are my foglight bulbs?
second, is it true that the yellower the foglights are (like the ones on the older lexus models) the more you will be able to see as opposed to the stock foglight bulbs? What do you reccomend?

Dont know your size, GXP'* are different. Put fog lamps in the Forum searchbox and nyou should come up with them. Brighter is Better!!! LOL. I have had both colors and dont think there is a diff. I think the bulbs companies just started yanking our chain back when to sell us different (=) more money. I've notice almost all OEM'* are back to white, so.........

you have a 880 bulb and no the color doen't make a difference unless you have h.i.d. lights, i upgraded my 880'* with a 889 the difference was the wattage 27 vs 50 - big difference

I believe the yellow ones have been said to operate best in rainy conditions, pure white doesn't do that well in rain, but works pretty at night snow or dry conditions.

I've been burning the 889'* in my 2000 SSEi and haven't had any issues and Lordvader is running them also, and he didn't mention any problems.

as long as u don't use them richly. I ran those 50w bulbs in my 93 it melted the plastic from the intense heat it put out, there'* no (paint?) on the tip of the 50w bulbs like the 27w ones I guess that might have made a difference? anyway I used my foglights everyday all day and that was the outcome, so if u hardly use them upgrade, if u do use them daily upgrade to aftermarket driving lights, Blazers are pretty good.
