Another stupid question...
I feel like I might as well just put a sign that says "ditz" across my forehead as I ask this question...but I guess this is how you learn...
My cigarette lighter doesn't work, which usually isn't a problem because I don't smoke, but most chargers for cell phones, etc, do involve the cigarette lighter...
Is there generally some sort of "cigarette lighter" fuse that I could check, or is it likely to be a more complicated issue than that?

Check the fuse box, and it should (should) have a description of all the fuses on the cover or something. Or a wire is bad.
You need a bonnie, cause in my car If one of mine went down.... I'd just use one of the other 2.

Initially I joined the forums so that I'd feel like I understand when I have a conversation with Hailey or Jim. But you people really are winning me over I'll check the fuse box...if i can find it I just wanted to make sure it was the right place to start looking for the problem...

Miami, You may want to check the lighter element itself unless you have already. Also, if you've checked the fuse and it'* good, then most cars today have the cigarette lighter on a relay controlled accessory circuit, which means that the ignition must be turned "on" to provide power at the lighter socket. Hope this makes some sense.

No, he doesn't have 3 lighters. He has an accessory hook-up on the top in place of the sunroof switch because he don't have a sunroof. Also he has a sunglasses and garage remote holder compartment.

I have sunglasses holder, but it'* sorta chintzy...
Anyway, again thanks for all the advice. The lighter doesn't work with the ignition on or off...but I will check about the lighter element, the fuse, and the wires...

That one in the roof is a perfect place for radar detectors, like zzzzzeke has above his rearview mirror.
