Default Our interior?

Is our interior really leather or is it the Vinyl leather. Cause when I was putting on the conditioner it left like a finish that you would get using black magic on our dash. it should be more of when you use Vinyl conditioner. Makes it soft but doesnt leave a glossy finish to it.

i know the harder stuff on the sides is vinyl but i don't know exactly. Could be a rougher/stronger leather then most. I wouldn't call it like the dash, which is more like a plastic witha vinyl top.

Last time I checked I thought it was real leather...especially the 97 and newer. I am looking at a 97 Bonneville booklet now and options say they have real "45/45 bucket seats - leather seating areas also available" Even the steering wheel and shifter are wrapped in leather. The cloth seats are "Cartagena cloth."

Mine says the same thing...Leather on seating area, steering wheel rim and console mounted shifter...

Its definitely not Leatherette that some import cars have, but in comparo, the leather in Pete'* car is not the same as mine :? and I don't think age is an issue :?

GM uses a heavier leather in their cars, it'* not as supple as say a Benz or Bimmer. Our 98 Yukons isn't as soft as other cars, but then i don't want something i'll rip with rivets on my pants. I'd say it'* real leather but not silly soft stuff. Leather care products will work fine on it.

OK thanks. I wasnt to sure because the leather in the back for the middle seat is real soft and the the rest is harder, especially underneath.

When I had the Aurora I used a product called Tanner'* Preserve leather conditioning cream. It sure kept the leather soft and new looking.
