ahh..how do i mount a Cone K&N air filter with a 3" rear hole to 3" pvc piping for an intake...

Use a 3" PVC to 3" hose connector. The 3" hose end is exactly 3" OD.
I used a 4" PVC hose connector for my 4" cone inlet.
