Default ACDelco Dex-CVT compatibility

Someone near me accidentally bought a ton of AC Delco Dex-CVT transmission fluid, and lost their receipt, so they're giving it away for free. Does anyone know if this CVT ATF is compatible with Dexron-III or Dexron-VI?

Is AC Delco Dex-CVT a fluid or a additive? My quick check shows it as an additive.

For my two cents, DEXRON VI is the latest and greatest from GM for ATF. I would not use anything else, even for free as I want my tranny to have the biggest chance of not having a failure. I put Dexron VI and a shift kit in a failing Bonny trans 4 years ago, and the tranny is doing fine, actually got better over time.

From what I can tell, this is just the fluid (part number 15250985), not the additive with the same name.

I don't need transmission fluid right now, but if someone'* offering six new, unopened bottles for free, I may as well ****** them up… if they work.

Its a "dealer only" fluid, used in vehicles like the Saturn View and Honda CVT. It is made for variable transmissions. I think the fluid could be sold on e-bay and some good coin made.

I don't have a technical bulletin that states it, I sense it is not the proper match for Bonny transmissions.

I have seen warnings DexVI cant be used for CVT so I would assume the reverse would also be true. They are different formulations. CVT is pricey. Especially from Toyota or Mazda. I vote leave it out of regular Dex tranny'* and eBay it.
