ABS Center cap search
I have to do my shopping at school where i have internet, but my car is at home. I've found two different numbers for my Silver ABS center caps.
25617528 -found on GMPD, only $11 a piece
10172980 -found on ebay
Can someone help clarify? If the PN i found on GMPD is correct, that would be great because they're only $11 a piece.
Thanks!

JDB....I've noticed that part number sometimes change over the years as some get combined etc. Your best bet is probably GMPD, however if you can get dimensions etc for the ebay ones....they'd be your best price probably.

On my '93, the letters "ABS" across the middle are fully formed, rounded letters; they do not have that gap in the left end of the horizontal strokes of the "A" and the "B" that you see in the eBay item.
Also, those caps appear to be solid gray. Mine have a brushed aluminum finish, that engine-turned, brushed finish of concentric rings coming out from the center.
The diameter looks correct, about 2 3/8" across the face, and I suspect if you bought a set of four, no one would be the wiser, but if you can get something a little better documented, like what you're finding at GMPD, I would chase that instead.

93-95:
Black: 10137802
Silver: 25617528
Both are going to be in the range of $10 each from www.gmpartsdirect.com and alot cheaper at a wrecker, but be warned the black is quite rare, and hard to find. Trust me, I have both black and silver, one on each car.
I have spares, and I suggest you plan for that too.

Thanks for confirming the PN, Bill. GMPD will be receiving some money from me shortly :P.
Anybody know why some 93'* got silver and some got black? It doesn't seem like the kind of thing you would bother to spec out in an order.

From what I've seen, nearly every car got the silver. Rare cases got black. Have you ever seen black on a car besides my 93? Maybe 1 or 2 others for me. 90% or more are silver at least.

Mine were original. There was only one previous owner to me, and it was an older professional/retired couple. (Car was his company executive car which he retained when he retired).
