The title for my 99 SSEi says it is 3,490. I assume they get that off of a factory sheet when the car is titled new. It always seemed low to me, but fair. My dads 96 Park Ave Ultra is titled at 3,7??. Now that car is the ultimate sleeper. It will keep right with my SSEi that has a 3.4 pulley.

I paid $5025 down from $5400. Trust me if you get this car jaws will drop, I can't talk about street racing but you know waht I mean. I NEED a track in my area. As for weight its in between a GTP and SSEi. GTP=3420, LSS=3512, 96'99' SSEi=3647, and 2K + SSEi=37??. So there you have it.
I don't think my jaws will drop. My STE is a high 13 second car if I could ever get it to the track in one piece. A stock LSS should do about 15 flat by my calculations...although it would be running 13'* after a week of me owning it...I don't have anything thats stock, I just can't stand it...hell my mountain bike isn't even stock. My STE was a luxury car when it was built...it had a $30k sticker price new...and in 1990 that was some serious coin. Its got 12 way power front seats, power everything, powered moonroof, DIC, ABS, etc.. The only things it doesn't have that the LSS has is auto climate control (don't really like, I always turn it off in the SSEi), leather (don't have a need for it), and traction control (which as most people here know...I hate). Although leather and HUD were both options on my car.

It wouldn't be that much of a step up, except for in quality, and reliability. I am getting the tranny fixed in the STE tommarow, but I still would like to get the LSS as well. We'll see what happens because I'm poor...

No, I mean OTHER peoples jaws will drop when they get smoked by a grandpa'* car. However, the sunroof does give them a "sportier" look. Hopefully, if you get that one the traction control doesn't work. Mine doesn't and I plan to keep it that way.
