$6000 damage to my car. She rear-ended me, so she pays for my car and her'*.
Sorry, no pictures. I couldn't bring myself to take them
Back quarters are buckled, trunk smashed, tail lights gone, frame bent, brand new exhaust trashed . And they want to try to FIX it ....:rolls eyes:
I'm driving an Impala now until my 2002 Bonneville rental car come in. IF it ever does. It'* a month late.
I like the Impala. I think I want one.

I think that GM trucks must be attracted to Bonnevilles...
I find it strange that they're going to try to fix it; $6000 is very close to the value of the entire car. If that figure is accurate, I'd negotiate with the insurance company and have them declare your car a total loss.

Are we talking about a new Impala with a V6 or the older Impala'* (like 95ish) with the LT1 that can do wonders and use the same technology as the Camaros/Firebirds/Corvette'* and make insane power. Because if my car got trashed tomorrow, and I had the choice between a new Bonneville or a V8... I am going to choose the V8...

Women drivers! just kidding. Glad to hear u were not hurt! Woulden't u miss the Bonny? One of the guys I work with just bought a new Impy, it'* ok but personally I would pick a Bonny over it any day. Sounds like u have a while to think about it anyways.

It'* a 2002 with a 3800 II in it. I got STOMPED on by a Camaro yesterday, when I can normally keep up to them in my car. It was like a 2002 Camaro though so maybe that'* the difference. Either way, Imp stayed with him until he shifted 3rd (stick) then away he went and we were left sitting.
I think it'* just like the 2002 Bonnevilles pretty much. It only has 15K on it. I am in LOVE with it. I don't know if I can go back to my 95 now. lol.
I'm going to fix up the '95 and sell it.
Tebuok: Insurance gives you wholesale value, and they figure that the wholesale on my car is like $6500-$7000 bc of the milage. I can sell it privately for like $8-9K so that'* why I gave them the go-ahead. I'll be that much closer to affording my new car...hehe
I'll get some pictures of Imp. (that'* his name...the Impala)

When my '93 SSE got totaled, I recieved NADA book value for it. For your car, that'* about US$6100. Also, keep in mind that your car'* value will significantly decrease if it has extensive repair work. Just my $0.02
I hope everything works out, Bonnie or no.
