How many miles do you have on your Bonneville???Problems?
I just passed 122,000 on my 94 SE. She still runs strong, I have a leaking transmission from the pan gasket, and the same can be said for my valve covers, I plan on changing them when the weather warms up. I was wondering how many miles you can relaibly expect out of these kinds of cars before its time to unload and buy a newer one. Right know I live about 2 miles from work, so I wont be putting anymore miles on it really. I have already replaced the Water pump, The underside is good with no real rust. Should I keep her and drive it till the wheels fall off. or go with something newer?, say 2000 or 2001? She is in real good shape right now, I don't want to miss the chance of getting a higher resale value before to many things go wrong with it. Like the dreaded transmission falure these cars are known for.

Between 100,000 and 120,000. The only problems I have are MAP Sensor and EGR Valve. The upper intake went out in November (to the tune of 1200 bucks for a complete fix). No leaks or nothing. The only thing I've HAD to do other than the above were plugs and wires, and the FPR
I also have the warranty work sheet, thanks to a former(?) memeber. No major repairs were done to the car prior to me getting her...
