92 sse transplanted into a 93 SLE
Ive got the 93 Se with the 3.06 gearing ratio, and i was wondering if i could use a transmission from a 92 sse. is the wiring different? i want to keep my l27 and change out the transmission... the 92 sse has 241k on it, so ill probably give that car'* l27 away to someone on the club, in curiousity to see how long it lasted. is this a good idea? i can get the entire running sse for 600 bucks.

I've got a 93 SE, so the wiring will definatly be the same... for less than 600... and like 100k less miles. Want it?
Anywho, I'd need to check my FSM and find somebody with a 93 FSM to check for wiring differences. But I had an electronic tranny modulator dealy that was listed for a 93. The harness was slightly different and needed modification to connect. It seemed to work, but a diode blew, then my tranny died. Was it related to internal tranny differences? I don't know for sure.
