Yes and no. And why if your going to do it stay away from autostore or any do it yourself film. Quality is everything for this. I had mine done by by respected shop that uses 3M film 5 years ago and not a single problem to date. It still looks like it was just put on.

Venom nailed it. It'* not safe to tint yourself using the cheap Autozone/Advance/Wally World film. It is safe to tint using a quality film like 3M or LLumar.

I have mine done, and no problems.

It all depends on the legal limit. Here, you're only allowed to have the back windows tinted. Its illegal to have any tint darker than stock on the front windows at all. It looks really strange when its like that, but the law is the law

i wanted to but the cops are dicks here.. michigan only allows half of the front windows tinted they dont give you a certain percentage on the front its half or nothing.. and i dont want to spend money on nice looking tint only to rip it off... if i have a two door in the future though it will get done

they have percent laws here but they will let you get away with anything on the back three and pretty much nothing on the front side windows, and they make the tickets not worth the trouble even if you fix it you still have to pay court fees

My front windows are illegal in every state. I haven't been harassed about them yet.
