90 SSE...I think I am going to sell my baby... help on price
I think I have decided to sell my 90 Bonny SSE
I am the second owner...bought it in 95, been a daily driver for over 10 years and stored in the garage since bought. Never wrecked, everything works great, regular service, every option but CD player. Original paint but it has been "capped" on top surfaces, paint is very slick but the metal flake did not lay perfectly uniform and some banding is apparent in direct sunlight...very slick finish however...factory lookin' finish. Interior is very nice, no tears etc, original mats, new headliner....does exhibit some slight wear on steering wheel and front seats but nothing like would be expected. It was a road machine and highway driver. Engine has never been apart except for water pump and timing chain....everything is clean, functioning and perfect.
Needs a little work...a little trans leak....gasket I think, a little radiator leak at tank seal, AC compressor rattles, Anti lock needs some attention...lights up and peddle a little hard.
I am a Realtor....this car was washed and detailed sometimes several times a week and regularly serviced and maintained since 95 for reliability and support and safety of my customers. Currently 281,000 miles but looks, runs, rides and drives like a hundred or less. Starts and runs with a flick of the key every time...always has....drives and runs like a sports car...rides like a Caddy..
I also own a 94 SSE...this 90 is twice the car from a build/component/material/assembly perspective. My 90 is the best car I have ever owned.
So...I need some help...what is a far asking price for a local sale? I think the average guy will pass because of the mileage even though the car is so slick and sound. I do think someone who knows what the car really is....would be inclined to overlook the mileage...but at what price?
