'89 LE - Transmission Flushed
YAY, I just got my trans flushed...I dont think I have EVER felt ANY transmission shift as smooth as mine does now. I always thought that just because the car was old that it was normal to have it clunk or drop or slip and clunk into gear. Well now..it feels like a brand new transmission. I cant even feel it shift. AT ALL. When i'm on the road, it shift seamlessly, when I am putting or taking it out of gear it all happens with out ANY movement! ITS AMAZING!!! UNBELIEVEABLE!!! I AM ECSTATIC!!!

This is humorous to me. Glad to see you did it and enjoy the results. Please add a fliter/fluid service to your regiment about every 30K or 3 years.
The funny part is the fuild was probably older than you are...

In 12 months you'll notice that shift again... These transmissions tend to overheat the fluid...
I try to change the fluid at least once a year, herlps keep the trans happy

Boosty: Hah, is it really? Well it says to do it every 15k or yearly...so..im gonna do it yearly! And well the fluid is actually not that old because last year I drained and refilled..but the fluid then was BLACK..and this time is was brown..so yah, that fluid no longer had its lube properties of thats what ur getting at...

Which reminds me... I need another filter kit for the 91 and another case of fluid
