Go for it! Especially with the low miles! Your milage to age ratio will stomp all over mine! (Mine was one of if not THE lowest round these parts for a while)

(I bought it with 38,000 just two years ago)
But then i realized i put more miles on my car in the 6 months that i had my temps than many people put on their car in a year so the miles are gonna rack up quickly. (My best friends house is a 60 mile drive from here)
Yes, just make sure to have the mechanic do a thorough check on the engine.
Then change all the fluids, break her in for a while
.. then i found out that a good ole italian break in is necessary to get her to start performing at her best (a few quarter-mile /0-60 type runs) My car felt like it had new life after a few of those.
