Great progress. On heating of the pulley/charger, I'd suggest against it as you may heat up the seal. In case it'* not being changed. Not sure how far you guys are going on the rebuild.

Sorry we didn't have any pictures last night. We got the car all back together and running, but since we tried to re-use the factory pulley, when we first drove the car it squeaked a little bit and then shredded the belt after a little bit of driving because the pulley got bent taking it off. We have that problem fixed because we have a new ZZP modular pulley on the way. 3.5 We did have a slight other problem that we can't figure out...

When the car is at an idle, cylinder one misfires horribly. When we drive it, cylinder one and the other five have zero misfires. I've tried swapping the plug wires for one and four, and nothing changed. The car also doesn't seem to slow down as much when I let out of the throttle, maybe since I couldn't get the throttle plate perfectly centered when I cleaned it all out so its letting more air past, so the motor can't idle as low as it wants to? When I stop it slows to about 900RPMs then starts missing and holds around 650ish. as soon as I push the gas pedal the missing stops and the car runs fine. Besides the chance of hurting cyl one by not firing the car sounds like its cam'd, which is kinda cool, but still not right

First thing your going to want to do is search for a vacuum leak. Check all gasket surfaces, as well as around the fuel injectors. You can also try swapping injectors from #1 and #3 and see if the miss follows.

I will start making a list of stuff to do when we get back to town. Thanks for the help, I honestly would assume that a vacuum leak would cause a cyl 1 only misfire so every little bit helps lol.

Uh..I know where there'* a vacuum leak. You told us.. at the throttle plate. Remember reading something about porting and maybe removing the post. If so..you'll want to retune the maf table.

As for #1 misfiring. You swapped the wires at the coil pack. The wire is far too short to actually swap the wires front to back. (unless there'* a funky set of wires on it). I would check the plug and wire. Oh..and it'* a small issue, that'* why when you are on the throttle, it'* fine.

I just switched the wire at the coil to make sure that post was good on the coil. I will take a look at the throttle body when I get back first, then look else where for leaks.

I doubt you have leaks causing a cylinder 1 misfire. I'd check that wire and plug.
