95 SSE W/3800 Series II "K" Engine:
Upper Intake Kit (P/N: 17113136 & Lists @ $492.75 CDN)
Includes Upper Intake & gaskets & Bolts
*OR*
Upper Gasket Set (P/N: 17113137 & Lists @ $62.15 CDN)
Includes Gaskets only.
If I wanted to change all of my intake gaskets on my '95 SSE... Upper, lower, etc.. doing them all while I'm at it, do you know the part numbers of what Gasket Kits I would need? It looks like P/N 17113137 is a complete Upper Gasket Set which is 1/2 of it I think, but I think I would need a lower too right? Also, those part numbers look like they are GM part numbers. Do you show these gasket kits being availble from AC-Delco, or show any AC-Delco part numbers?

The guy I used to know in the parts dept at my local pontiac dealer before he left told me that on some itmes, the dealerships computer lists the GM part number, and then if its available they will give the AC-Delco # too (usually in brackets like this). He actually showed me on his screen a few times. I understand not everything is available through delco, but I get Delco for FREE, so if you could get me AC-Delco part numbers it would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!!
Here'* the GM P/N'* for the gaskets needed to reseal the intake on a 92 SE 3800 NA Series I Engine:
12338840 Gasket Kit (Intake Set)
24506986 Thermostat (195 Degree)
25535214 Gasket (T-Stat Gskt)
24506985 Seal (T-Stat Seal)
109506985 Sealer (for Upper Intake Gskt)
993089 Antifreeze (X2)
88901247 Cleaner (Brake Kleen)
Plus Blue Loctite for Intake Bolts Threads.
OPTIONAL:
25532619 Gasket (X2) (Valve Cover Gskts)
AND as for doing the job:
It'* not as bad as it looks! Really, I've done mine already.

Removal:
1) Fuel Injector sight shield, air intake duct & spark plug wires
2) fuel rail (just pops out)
3) exhaust cross over shield (I left mine on w/o ill effects)
4) cable bracket to cylinder head mounting bolt (where the accelerator cable is attched to)
5) P/* pump support bracket (RH side of engine)
6) generator & support bracket (LH side of engine)
7) heater pipes (at front of intake, below where generator was)
bypass hose & uppper rad hose
9) intake manifold bolts & manifold (13mm socket if I remember right)

Installation:
1) intake gaskets & seals (use RTV sealant on the ends of the manifold gaskets at corners to heads)
2) intake manifold (apply blue thread locker compound to intake bolts)
3) tighten to 10 Nm or 88 Inch Lbs
4) bypass hose & rad hose
5) heater pipes to lower intake
6) upper intake (use GM sealer to reseal it to lower intake)
7) generator & bracket
P/* pump support bracket (tighten to 50 Nm or 37 Ft Lbs)
9) cable bracket to cylinder head mounting bolt
10) fuel rail (just pops in - listen for click)
11) spark plug wires
12) Fuel injector sight shield & air intake duct
You can get your dealership or AC Delco Distributor to change these P/N'*.

Thats for a '92 with a Series I though. Are the numbers going to be the same for my Series II?

Thanks Man!

Substitute the following in above equation instead:
Lower Intake Gskt Set 12537197 (Lists @ $45.10 CDN)
Upper Intake Gskt Set 17113137 (lists @ $ 62.15 CDN)
T-Stat 24506986 (Lists @ $13.00 CDN) >>>>195 Degree & W/Gskt
Re: 95 SSE 3800 "K" Engine.
Sorry about that mix up.

When you get to it let us know...
No, the manifold has to go on with the TB over the belts. I'm going to get the mechanical drawings this week from a friend of mine and see what this is going to take. I don't know if the heads are L36 or L67, but I'm betting they are L67 with the fuel system in the heads instead of the intake. I'll post for all when I get the answer, but I do know this... the F-body mainfold breaths much better than our highrise meltdown monster. And it'* aluminum.
