Default Heated seat locat help

Im getting ready to install my heated seats and i need to know where the stock location for the heated seats are. Im either going to install on the panel where the diff seat pos switches are or under the stereo. If anyone can get me pics that would be great.
thankx

Beats the hell out of me. I don't think that was even an option in '93, but I do want to know what you're up to. Are you installing a kit, or actually swapping seats? If it'* a kit, where and how much? Get'* kinda cold in the winter over here.

the heated seats are a kit from www.grandprixstore.com the actual unit is better than the pics they provide on there site. go under grand prix interior and look a the options they have. its 100 bucks a seat for the heating units the wiring looks VERY VERY simple ans the install * going pretty good so far. Ill keep you posted i shold have this all done and working by friday night. a lil at a time.
I ordered 2 kits for now i might do the rear seats but i dont know yet. See if my girlfriend wants em or not hehehe

btw the switches are alot nicer too its more of a rectangle w/ a high off low

Thanks for the info, Bose. Post again when you're done. I'm probably not the only one out here who'* interested in this.

BTW, there'* easier ways to heat a back seat when you have a girlfriend.

The install pic I saw on the GP site showed it mounted to the seat rail.....my car doesn't have that. I'm looking at putting the switch between my auto climate control and the AC vent to the left of it, even if I have to punch a hole thru steel. The other option is that angled piece on the center console, just forward of the storage lid under your right elbow, to the rear of the shift console. I can't do that, cuz I have a remote radar detector switch there so I don't have to fiddle with the little switch on the detector. My last option would be on the lowest part of the dash panel below the stereo and gain control, just behind the ashtray on the Center Console. Sounds like you're looking at exactly the same thing I am, cuz neither one of us knows where the stupid factory switches go! I'll look around at some old sales brocures....they show interiors......

Heated Seats werent available in the Bonneville until 2000, and the switches are in the center console, just behind the transmission shift level. They are spread out to each side (drivers and pass), and the traction control switch is in the middle.

Bose, post some damn pics! Did you have to tear the pads off your seats? Pics pics pics!! And dont even sit there and try to tell me you didnt take any, because I will seriously drive over there and beat you down :P hehe.

Later dude!

He sent me to www.grandprixstore.com, and they actually have a great section on the web for installation. Pics and everything! He can't get it done fast enough for me, either. I'm ordering as soon as he tells me how it went and how they work.

Thanks, Bose. I'm ordering at least my first one this week. Your pics should be up before I get parts. Nice to see another guinea pig taking one on the chin for the group!
