What is the best way to access the rear spark plugs on car
I am gonna be replacing the spark plugs and wires this Saturday and need to know what all has to come off to gain access to them. The less stuff I half to pull off the better. It has the 3100 V6 in it. Me and the friend that is gonna be helping me has been looking for a way to gain access to them but we only have come to the conclusion that the coil packs need to come off along with alternator and a few other things. So is what I said above true on removing them or not. Also I have a single engine mount in the center of the passenger side fender well could we maybe loosen that to gain access to them or not. Also if yall might have a good picture of the firing order of my 3100 I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Yep, you'll need to remove the coil packs. If memory serves they're on a bracket that sits on two studs, and held on with two nuts. Unplug the ICM connectors, remove the nuts and lift the coil packs up. Leave the old wires on the coil packs, and label them. Replace the wires one at a time and you should be fine. I always use dielectric grease on the coil pack terminals, and inside the plug wire boots to keep the ignition system happy.
Here'* the firing order:
