Time to show the rear tires I had on the car (Bad)
These have been on the car since I bought it. I never had the $$ to replace them, but thanks to a forum member here, they gave me 2 good tires for $10. I really needed them, I was on the verge of blowing a tire (or two), so here are the old, scary looking tires. They were on the car when the previous owner (petraman) had it, and they were bad when he had it. So, here they are -
Literally no tread left.
Belts were shredding off, was peeling them off daily.
Big nail stuck in one.
Proof no tread was left.
Lumps in the tires, car had a terrible ride, back end would bounce up and down.
This is what I replaced them with, by far much better, used, but heck I can't bitch for $10. The car'* ride is absolutely unbelievable with these new tires. Now I can drive on the freeway!

Just a random forum member, eh?
Give credit where credit is due, I gave you a great deal on those tires
And you paid 30, not 10, lol. I just made 10 dollars profit
(oh, btw, you should have seen the tires on the front when I first got it. You think those tires are bad )

...............Ahem... I gave you $20 gas money, and $10 for the tires.
And don't worry, the fronts will need replaced soon also. Don't ask why.
(Too many burnouts at too many stop signs)

Hmmmm Them tires appear to be Summitomo HTR 4 T rated?? 560 Treadwear rating with a 2 ply sidewall..
With all of the rain we get here in the sometimes stormy sunshine state..... I get scared and replace the tires before they get to the wear bars.....LOL
I never got the 75k out of those tires tho.... I think I made it to 30k if that.... And the H rated set of the HTR H4'* I have now are a 400 wear rating and wearing fast( I swear I have no idea why )

Yup, HTR 4'*. My friend had the same tires on his '98 regal, and they were utter junk. They were showing belts and worn at 30,000 miles. I swear I wouldn't recommend those tires to anyone.
I have a reciept for Wal-Mart when these tires were installed in 2003, and by looking at the miles on the paper, and the current miles, they have about 35,000 miles on them.
Yeah Matt, these bald *** tires were terrible in the rain and snow, my *** end slid everywhere. They eventually scared the crap out of me. They lost air so bad I was putting air in them 3 times a week.
Oh well, they are gone now and I am happy.

Ok this is an alignment issue.... That will make the tires wear fast..
I liked the HTR T4'* I had... But the car was in good alignment and my driving style dictated that they would wear fast.. And they did.. When the tread gets thin no tire is going to handle for crap...lol
I have the HTR H4'* on my 95 Now... The tires are wearing very even but being that its a softer rubber compound they are wearing kind of quickly... I really like these tires and want a set for the Transport which will wear Bonneville Rims..
I have had several sets of tires and have like some more than others.. The only thing I did not like about the HTR T4'* was that it was a 560 wear rating meaning a harder rubber compound...
Some passenger cars come from the factory with tires that have a 320 wear rating... And believe it or not highway miles are hard on the tires as well..
After 10,000 miles my HTR H4'* on the front of the Bonnie are almost done... But I am willing to get them again.... I should have rotated
