PIAA Silicone Wipers
Anybody used these?
I am thinking of getting a pair of PIAA 95055 Super Silicone Wiper Blades for my Grand Prix.
That are a little pricey, but kind of sound worth it.

And the pad that say I'd need to use on the window after cleaning it well..

I am curious about these as well. I have a chronic issue with wiper blades on the PA because the top of the passenger blade hangs about an inch off the curve of the windshield, and it deforms the blade in relatively short order.
I also need to replace the blades on both cars to get the walmart specials off of them. They have been complete crap from day one, even moreso than the generic duralast sets that have lasted 2 years in the past.

Yeah I remember you having the same issue as me with wiper blades on the PA, I think a frameless designed wiper may work better, but I am not sure, I have stuck with framed wipers because I just feel like the wiper will hold together better.
Someday I may try something like this wiper on my PA if I keep it.

I am interested in how well these wipers are going to keep the window clear, they say it "Coats Windshield with Water-Repellent Silicone with Every Wipe so You Don't Have to Re-apply it"
Hopefully it is not as bad as Rain-X can be, that stuff stinks, and makes some non silicone wipers chatter, can cause streaking, and is hard to remove from the windshield.
Some do report good experiences with it though, it is just not for me.
If I get the wipers I'll report back on them after seeing how well they do.

I have them on my Jeep and I like them. I use old clay bar as the most effective way to clean glass. A friend of mine had paint overspray on his windshield and nothing he tried was removing it. I gave him some clay bar and it took the overspray right off with little or no effort.

Good tip, thanks Roy, I was considering getting a clay bar to do my car after I wash then polish it, I doubt it was ever clay bared before, and I am sure it would look a lot better afterwards.
