Oh come on, if you saw the police force... or lack there of... here you'd be sayin the same stuff... Oakland County is a joke when it comes to police force, for the 3rd richest county in the country, you'd think otherwise...

just to add, im 17 and i was talking to a cop one day (no reason why) and he said that it was policy of their department to go up to teens and see what they were doing, and ticket them if they are loitering.... also, as for Tints... the police around here are rediculous (for the most part) my aunt has really illegal tints, but becuase she'* older, and has a family.... no problems... but my friend, who doesnt drive any different than my aunt gets pulled over almost weekly.... and his tints arent as bad. I just really feel targeted as a teen to police. Yeah, i understand that alot of teens are bad, but thats not all of them! I for one and a great guy, isnt anything i wouldnt do for my family, friends and girlfriend, and im getting pulled over for the dumbest stuff, but luckly, my great respect for authority got me out of a few tickets, of which i didnt deserve.... except one speeding time. He got me for 75 in a 25.... (country road, not residential) pulled me over by blocking the road (he was coming head on to me) and told me my brights were on and to turn them off, slow down and have a nice night.... so yeah, they're not all bad, in fact many are great, but they have got to back off of teens, start watching for the 40 year old drunken moron on the roads... thats all i have to say, i think...

Oh I have had my run ins with police who has stopped and hassled me for no reason and I have also been pulled over and given a 133 dollar ticked when in fact I was behind a slow moving vehicle. I know all about the bad apples of the bunch. I decided though not to go into detail of the bad things in my last post and talk about some of the good cops I have worked with so that Bill doesn't have to lock this post . Trust me though, I am not completely happy with law enforcement, and that all I'm gonna say. And yes alot of the stuff they have to do sucks, like going after teenagers, but the actual cops do not make the laws, they just enforce them, blame thier higher ups for that.

That would be a $170 fine here in B.C. I'm jealous.

I'm just as guilty as most when it comes to bending...ok, breaking...the rules when it comes to speed, but I have a lot of respect for the law. There are good and bad with any group.
Tonights news showed a 19 year old who was killed when his Honda crashed while trying to run from police. A sobering reminder of how vulnerable we are.

hate to bring up a old subject, but you mention your aunt has DARK tint and doesn't get hassled because she'* older. how'* the cop know she'* old if she has dark tint?

cops are human, just like everything else there'* going to be jerks, there'* going to be nice ones. if you live in a "ghetto" area, im sure there not going to be to generous, i wouldn't. they see crap everyday all day, why should they think your different. i live in a kinda small suburb, so the cops arn't "bad" around here. just don't lie to them (when they pull you over for speeding) if you were speeding, admit it, you'll have a better chance getting off if you don't lie or act dumb. the "my speedo must be off" never works!

yeah good thing you didnt get caught going at that rate of speed the can charge you with attempted vahickular homicde? that happened here about 3 weeks ago in a 5.0. chase anybody here about it?

i have had 2 encounters with law enforcement in the bonnie and both times i was humble and both times they were forgiving. if u are nice to them they are almost always nice back to u. i think most people hate the police because they think it is the trendy thing to do but most times it only gets u in trouble.

P.*. but they can be annoying when ur just trying to have a little fun

as for the comment about me living in a "ghetto" area, i dont, and my aunts tints are dark mirror, but you can see her head when she drives... her big mid aged womens hair. Cops around here are suppost to be paid the most in the state, Oakland county is the richest in the state, 3rd in the country, which is where i live, unfortunatly... people here are too snobby
