BONNEVILLE VS FIERO
Just thought i'd let u all know that i just killed this pontiac fiero, right of the line all the way baby when we got to the next set of lights he rolled down his window and said:nice race, but it'* supercharged right? anyway i asked what he had, and he said he had a n/a 3800! i don't know if his car was auto or not, hell maybe he had the v8 conversion. ok , lets not get too carried away!! anyways i'm proud as hell. **** it was the the first time i took car out ! recently bought it , and got it insured today. i'm totally impressed! but one thing i'll never do again is remove my MAF. man it made my car run like crap (btw, my car wasn't running 100% when i raced that fiero, i had just removed the MAF and took it out on a test drive).
my bonny is pretty well stock exept the accel coils! exhaust is goin in tomm(flomaster) i'm cutting out the cat. intake soon to come, and pulley.....

If he had a N/A 3800 you would've gotten beat if the Fiero was running decent at all. Those run 14'* with the 3800 conversion. Maybe he said he had a N/A 2.8, because that is what they had from the factory, and they ran 16 flat in the 1/4, that'* with 140hp. With a stock L67 conversion they run mid 13'*, and low 13'* with a pulley, plugs, CAI, and t-stat. Because they are so light, and are RWD it is VERY easy to make them fast.

well the guy pulled up to me and said, i have the same engine as u,exept for the supercharger! go figure?? maybe he was just bullshitting?
but still, even though he had the n/a 2.8 , considering how light his car is , i did real good!
remember i had no mods yet, my car was running slugish( due to removal of MAFscreen) and i have 369000 km on it

Yeah Ive seen the conversion with a 3800 but SC and let me tell you the thing can haul ***. It can hop the front wheels of the ground when it is mashed and it runs high 11'* and its running low boost so the car doesnt flip I think

I don't know if it is the same car, but I know of a guy that runs 11'* in his Fiero with a SC 3800, but it doesn't run low boost to keep the car from flipping, it doesn't have that much power. The engine isn't even putting out that much power. I think its like 280 some horses at the wheels.

I don't think this guy can even get the front tires off the ground. But, sorry, I didn't know you were kidding. I am bad at telling when people are kidding or not.
