2 months ago I bought my 2001 SSEi with 66K for $10,000 out the door. They are hard to find but keep looking.

$10k for your SSEi with 66k is AMAZING. Cars with that low of mileage around here either cannot be found, or are priced much above my reach for the time being. I could only wish I can find a deal like that. I'm jealous, my friend!

We didnt get to go look at the SSEi tonight, hopefully we can tomorrow...

Hear, hear. In 1996 I bought mine (then 3 years old) with 58K on it for $16K. That was 1996 dollars, too... Still, I've had 10 years to get over the shock of paying that much for just one car (I could've re-bought three of my previous cars for the same amount), and that car is still in my garage.

I just bought my 2000 SSEi with 100k for about $5999.00. The list price was $9,900.00, but I literally "walked-in" with $6,000.00 after turning in a lemon at the dealership next door, and when you walk in with cash it changes the game a little. I agree with the other guys, when it comes to your money you gotta fight for every dime. As for the car, w/ over 100k on it I wouldn't expect perfection. My car has a few problems, mostly the front-end with worn bumper paint, bug-impact damage, etc. But the engine ran like a top and the interior looked brand new. Just be cautious though, a car dealership could make a Pinto look like gold with enough wax. Also, check the bottom of the winshield for cracks, I neglected to do that and luckily in FL GEICO has to pay for with no deductible.
