Default Compass / Cluster question

I've noticed on some people'* dashes they have two buttons next to the compass. One is obviously "mode" but what'* the other one for? I just have the single "mode" button.

It is SET, to set the area in which you are located, so the compass is calibrated properly. At least that'* the way it is for mine. Of course Bill will jump in, and prove me wrong.

Read the compass calibration Techinfo article, and compare it to your owner'* manual. I was under the impression that we all had 2 buttons there.
