YEEEEE---YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!
oops. Sorry -but I had to get the Lil' Jon out of me.
A bit of good news here (for me and CSFiend)
I got the pn'* for the GM centerlinks for the FE2 sway-bars and am going to order them so I can get the FE2 stabalizer bars in *already* along with the Poly end-links.
Totally forgot about the STB swap from 1992+ onto the 1987-91'* so since I was looking over my parts car I saw the STB on the 1992 SE and grabbed my wratchet and 13mm socket. Had it on the car in about 5 minutes. What a world of difference. The feel of the steering now with the 16" wheels and the STB is very similar to the 1992+. Now when I get the swaybars on with the poly'* I can only imagine what this 3275 lb car is going to handle like.
After I did the STB install I pulled the spare tire cover from the 1992 and was looking at the RPO'* and one in particular stood out -FE2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy SHNITZELHEIMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I damned near was under the car before the tire cover that I dropped could hit the ground.
After some quick measurements I rolled under the 1997 SSE (the cars are pratically next to each other (there is a 1991 Dodge Spirit R/T between them). Sure enough they were the same size.
So here I was thinking Jay would have to get some FE2 stabalizer bars elsewhere since I was going to use the pair off the SSE. Now he doesn't have to scour the yards for them.
Ah, well, that'* my story for the day and I'm sticking to it.
