Im totally use to it by now. but my 97 had a little more room inside.

Well, I definatley want a car that will feel as tight as possible. I hate my old cutlass supreme it is so sloppy feeling in every way

I'd go with the 99 for all the reasons stated in the previous replies. Overall, I think the 99 is a better car in many respects.

take a look at the sticky at the top of the 2000 and Newer forum....it has ALL the common problems and the fixes for them....the 99 basically wont have 3/4 of the problems that you will encounter in the 00

Trade off is that the fit and finish of the 92-99 is aweful. Nice and squeaky. :?

I never had owned an SSEi, I've had a '95 SE and now have an '04 SE.

And I much preferred the '95

well illchime in too. never owned an ssei, but had a 96 and an 04 both SE, prefer the 04, but ive noticed theres a bit more you can do with a 96, appearancewise.

It seems like the 92-99 should feel solid being an H-bdy because my grandparents 1990 lesabre feels solid as a rock. It a damn nice driving car too! Smoothest car I have driven!
