General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Great being an Admin. Fringe benefit? Replying to a locked topic.

(sarcasm on)
Don't believe us and our collective experience. It really is dismal. 5 years of this Forum'* life and nearly 7500 members. We don't know jack. In spite of our very carefully selected Gearheads, we really are quite clueless.

We run 180'* (ALOT of us) because we're trying to induce wear and tear and like poor gas mileage. And of course, even though the odds dictate it, we've NEVER had a member that worked for GM to back up our findings with the 180.

You 195 believers should go up to 205. It'* good for thermal expansion to tightly seal your engine internals. REALLY tighten them up. Right on the verge of siezing your engine. (noobs, please disregard this paragraph and reply, it'* SMELLY with sarcasm).

(sarcasm off)

Run what you like. Trust the advice you choose to trust. Learn from who you choose to learn, and disbelieve whatever you like.

We have a HUGE amount of collective experience and expertise on this subject.

If you choose to start another topic related to this one, you may be wise to post in a FRIENDLY debate. Not an argument.
