different variations of trunk accessory kit (3 at least)
hope this isn't duplicate/old news
recently picked up a Pontiac trunk accessory kit, won it on Ebay

I already had a kit, but it was a good enough deal that I though I would like a spare. When I received it and checked it out and compared it to the one I already had, there'* a few differences, so I did some research into what the variations are in Pontiac full accessory kits, not counting the "just air hose & fittings" type kits
So far as I can figure out, the Pontiac full trunk accessory kit first appeared in the 6000 STE in '83 (the first year of the 6000 STE). The kit actually says "6000 STE Accessory Kit" on the flap. I naver seen such a kit, but I do have a picture. This kit was available through to the '87 model year. The flap is held shut with 2 metal twist clasps, and there are 2 crossing velcro strips on the back to attach it to the trunk lining.
For '88, with the introduction of the Bonneville SSE, the kit was now available in 2 different models, so name on the flap was changed to "Pontiac Accessory Kit". I believe '89 was the last year of the STE version of the 6000, so for '90 onwards the kit appeared only in the Bonneville, but it was not renamed.
For '92, the kit was changed slightly, the size of the bag is different, the organization of the partitions that separate the compartments is different, the flap is held shut with velcro instead of the 2 metal twist clasps, and to hold it to the trunk lining are 3 parallel strips instead of 2 crossing strips

The kit was also available in upscale models of the Transport. One of the Tastefully Simple consultants that I help with loading her orders, has a 1995 Transport and I noticed it the very first time I opened the tailgate. And yes, the Transport does have air supsension optional with the accessory outlet.

My '93 accessory kit has a Velcro flap and Velcro strips on the back (I thought only two but won't swear to that) that kinda sorta hold it in place.
My biggest regret is that the air pressure gauge reads exactly 10 psi too high ever since I dropped it one day.

I have the kit as well but mine is missing the air hose and fittings. I just bought the car off a friend.
Do they have anymore on Ebay ?
How does the compressor work ?
I tried it out using a different air hose but it didn't work. It turned on but there was no air pressure.

You've got about 6 hours till this one ends, I often see newer ones available, but they're more expensive

I don't even know what'* supposed to be in these kits? Because my car did have anything when I got it. Well other than a **** ton of trash but I don't imagine that was part of the accessory kits.
