Yeeaa... I don't think so.
You'd be surprised. 300 HP and tons of torque.

werd... we all have to admit that within the coming years, most mid to full size trucks will be quicker than our cars at some point...

Werd. It'd be no slouch, it'* a toss on whether or not it'll beat out a 5.7L Ram. I'm willing to bet money that it'* a hemispherical head/combustion chamber design as well (or any engine put out by Nissan within that past years) - Chrysler is the only one who choose to market it because of heritage.

Titan: 305hp @ 4900, 379lb-ft @ 3600
Ram 5.7: 345hp @ 5400, 375lb-ft @ 4200

Funny, the Titan actually has lower torque and horsepower peak RPM'*. And it sounds pretty good too. Very good.

If you guys are saying that an '92 SSEi is faster than 7.3 to 60mph and 15.9 @ 87, you'd sure as hell bet that a Titan might even be faster than 6.9 and 15.4. After all, these aren't credible magazines, are they? [/sarcasm]

The Titan has a 5 speed auto. The Hemi Ram is much slower than the Titan. The Ram runs a 16.2 quarter and goes from 0-60mph in 7.7 seconds. I think Nissan'* VQ engines are underrated just like the L67. This is because the times seem to be much faster than what the horsepower and torque would usually depict.
