That sucks...it was 9 days away. We would have found gas in the vacuum line I bet.

I've posted in the Columbus thread asking if the others want to take a run over your way to see how it looks and possibly work on it there.

Well, at the very least, if it is repairable, you've already got most of the parts you'll need. I think the worst is that you may have to replaces the MAF sensor. And you will definitely have to get it towed to a dealership to hev the oil and coolant systems flushed thoroughly.
PM me your address, so we can come take a look at it when we're done with the exhaust jobs. BC to the rescue!

Yikes, the problem is that I had it towed to Firestone, and they're not gonna look at it until tomorrow... I guess at this point another day won't matter(?).

Thanks for all who have offered to take a look, everyone here is so helpful I'll know more about the extent of the damage tomorrow when my Firestone guys look at it.

Oh yeah, and does that recall mean that I could get a break on some of these repairs? I don't know much about how those things work.

jeeez, I was so excited to go to Columbus, why couldn't stupid Bonne wait a week

Well, it is possible that you may be able to get GM/dealer to pay for the repairs, since it was the recalled faulty FPR that caused the problem.
