For Sale Forum
It seems that there have a been a lot of new members lately who only come here to post their items for sale. They'll make 1 or 2 posts, then vanish. It'* unfortunate to the members that express interest in the items that they're selling because they never return and posts are left unanswered.
I surf a lot on ls1tech.com and they have a nice rule. If you have less than 50 posts you can't start a new thread in any of the classified sections (they have 6 classified sections). It keeps the riff-raff out and everything running cleanly. I think 50 posts is a little extensive for a board much smaller than ls1tech.com, but there should be a compromise somewhere between 0 and 50! I dunno...15 posts?

you make a good point but no matter if they have zero, fifteen, fifty, or five hundred posts doesn't necessarily mean that they will be back to answer questions, post pics, etc.

it'* just really frustrating to me to see people with 1 or 2 posts selling something, and never being heard from again... but anyhew...
here'* my rant from the thread that started this thread...
doesn't it kind of bother you that you got the hopes of the poeple on this club up high, and then you turn around and sell it on ebay less than week later?
bothers me. see it happen here too much. you have an interested party, pm'* are sent, offers are being made, but then BAM! it'* for sale on ebay. you can have it if you're the highest bidder.
and has anyone noticed lately how many first time posts are people selling cars? that bugs the snot out of me too. this is a community... it'* kind of like if a bunch of friends were hanging out in their garage, and someone drove up and said, hey! i love cars too! buy this one!
and one of three things happens:
1) they become good friends
2) you *never* hear from them again
3) they turn around and sell what they were going to sell you to someone else
Unfortunately, 1) doesn't happen all that often.
</rant>
that'* my rant for the day. nice lookin bonnie, btw. shame you didn't keep it for someone on the club.
