Due to recent events beyond our control, the Admins of this site have revoked Vendor status for Pure Performance Fever. We feel it is not in the best interests of our members to do business with this vendor due to business practices. Because the owner of this store is a member here, and has the right to privacy in that regard, full details cannot be released.

Due to a recent episode, we cannot allow PPF to continue in a vendor role, as it would appear that this site endorses or supports this vendor. As stated above, because of recent events, we cannot do so.

We recommend finding alternate sources for your parts needs, but if you feel you must do business with this vendor, we cannot assist you with any difficulties you may encounter. PPF will not be posting or answering posts in the Vendor forum, nor advertising the store in any signatures. All dealings with PPF should be kept strictly offline.

As always, we recommend the vendors listed on the links page, and will do what we can if any member here has difficulties with these vendors.

After some points were clarified by the site owner, we are able to clarify some more points. We've held this very close to be on the safe side since this decision was made last night:

For the second time in 6 months, the owner of PPF has revoked the BC member'* discount to his store. This is always behind the scenes, and never announced publicly. Usually associated with a flare of emotion on an unrelated issue. This tactic has been used against the Administration of this site by the owner of PPF too many times. This resorts to using you, the members of BC, as pawns in a mental game of chess with the Administration. Last night, when the owner of PPF was asked to make that 'threat' public, he refused.

Indeed, the members deserve an explanation. Perhaps the best way to describe the situation would be to explain that Al'* actions have been tantamount to a termination of the business relationship between the board and his company: he revoked the member discount and thus indicated that he no longer views BC members as important customers (no "professional" discount). With said action, Al has therefore expressed that he no longer wishes to be a vendor associated with BC, so it is perfectly reasonable that Al'* vendor status should be revoked.

This type of behaviour will not be tolerated, especially by a Vendor who is here to serve our members. The Administration of this site REFUSES to associate with a business that uses these practices/tactics. Our members, the potential customers have every right to know what is happening on this subject.

The owner of PPF (Deathrat) has violated expectations made by the Admins and Owner of this site by offering parts for sale through PM'*, and posting publicly about it. PPF is not a recognized vendor at this site, and in fact, we STRONLY discourage any member here from doing business with PPF/Deathrat.

If any further details are needed besides what you read in this thread, please ask an Admin.

Please report any 'commercial' activities on Deathrat'* part to an Admin immediately.
