Default Possible new threads??

I was thinking maybe a detaling forum, one where fellow bonneville members could exchange tips and advice. Also, possibly a lighting fourm, one where HID conversions and the addition of aftermarket fogs and whatnot can be discussed and easily found. Both of these topics can be discussed in other forums, but sometimes they get buried too fast with a lot of new threads opening up... just my .02
Thanks

You can post any lighting/electronic/electrical Q'* in the Audio/electronic forum.

We're concerned with the length of the page. Adding more forums that have little 'activity' would be self-defeating. We need to prove a need before adding more, or perhaps trim something existing, and make room.

The Gatherings section doesn't get utilized as often as we expected it would, as most people are using the lounge and General Chat for that stuff, so we may start combining geographical areas to trim the board and make room.

For now:

Audio (and other electronics)
This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! Also post your general electrical/lighting problems here.

I agree with Will here 100%. My old Forum (BA) was starting to get quite long due to this very issue. Most people don't like to scroll down a very long page if they don't really have too. The outcome is usually one of couple things if they do. 1) The top sections are the only ones new prospective members base the forum on. 2) People get bored with the lower sections & ignore them.

Will might be right again here in saying that a different format of the sections may be in order IF THERE IS A NEED FOR THEM.

Just my $0.02

I think just one gathering forum would be a better idea. It would make it much easier for people to see what'* going on everywhere, i know a lot of people are interested in our spring GTA meet, but how many people check out the forums of other close locations? I missed a meet or two i MIGHT have been able to attend...

Gatherings was once one forum, we found it was to crowded and information was getting lost. The geographical split of the forum at the time (and still does IMO) help organize regional club members.

It you are suggesting a revision to the Gathering section, divide it into:

East North America
West North America
Worldwide

Better?

Fine, then leave it as Western Europe and Russia, but if you want to streamline the Gathernings Forums then that may be the best way to do it.

Should we do this? Split at the Mississippi? Or just in general, and let people 'find a home'?
