Because of just what happened to the "Kill Stories" forum, some forums abolish "Street Racing" stories all together!
I for one would not miss that section, as I found it full of "egos" rather than actual facts.

The warning was given and not heeded, us members just punched ourselves in the mouth for not keeping it closed when we thought someone was BSing. I for one will not miss that section.

On a forum such as this, where the whole family might be involved, and where kids sometimes read the content, I think 'kill stories' should be gone. Street racing is very illegal and dangerous as we all know. Most of us do it once in a while. I did a little coming home yesterday, but nonetheless it is something that should be kept on the down-low. We don't want to be showing our other visitors and such about the crazy things we do on the road. People come here for car help, selling and buying car related stuff, and just making conversation.
Kill stories are fun to read, (boat'* are hilarious), but they can set the wrong examples to others.
...my 2 cents....

I'm asking myself why will people stop the crap because it'* "At a track" It'* a great idea but i know that the people who aren't the best in the kill section won't change.
Maybea road stories sections? Not just kills, but things that happened when driving, like seeings chicks in another car, and following them, or getting in accidents etc?

But seriously, did we need two threads about this??

If I had a track nearby I would love to go to it. I had tried to make it to one when I got my Malibu to see what the car could really do. I think the problem is that most of us do not have access to a track ( sad, sad place we live in ).
If we did have an" at the track " section to avoid the bs stories in there it would also have to contain either your timeslip or a pic of the race to prove it happend in life not your imagination.
I think I would much rather see an "at the track" section than a "kill stories" section. Besides people coming into this forum to browse would probably have more rspect for us and our cars since we are not talkign about street racing but actual track time, I think it gives off a more mature, professional apperance to the forum.
Again just my 0,02$ ( wich the canadian exchange that would be my 10,000$ )
